Student Opportunities in Dr. Steve Moore's Lab

As director of CSUMB's Ecosystem Electronics Laboratory (EEL), I often have interesting Capstone Projects (for undergraduates) or Masters Thesis Projects available to challenge students who are both motivated and well-prepared. These projects invariably involve the development, refinement, or application of new electronic or robotic gizmos or gadgets to support research and/or education in marine biology, wildlife management, or ecology.

The number of available projects is limited, and priority will go to those applicants who are well-prepared self-starters. Appropriate preparation incudes a combination of basic biology/ecology knowledge, some practical experience with electronics, programming languages, and/or computer networking, and good writing skills. If you have this background and experience and are interested in working on a project in the EEL as a Capstone student or Graduate student, please contact me.

For an overview of projects going on in my lab, please visit the EEL Projects Page. For a list of current Honors Capstone Project opportunities in the EEL, please check out the projects listed under my name (Steve Moore) part way down the page on the ESTP Honors Capstone site.
