Education and Outreach

Research is only one component of what goes on in the lab. Training the next generation of scientists is critical to solving ongoing and future environmental issues. In particular, reaching out to groups that have historically been underrepresented in the sciences is a key educational activity of the lab. The Marine Landscape Ecology Lab is committed to these goals and as such works with the following organizations and programs to encourage students to pursue a career in the marine sciences.
