The Monterey Bay area is a prime location for this major with easy access to the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, rugged Big Sur mountains and coastline, Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Reserve, Salinas Valley agriculture, and other biologically-rich destinations. The major will offer concentrations in General Biology, Pre-Medicine, and Biology Teacher Preparation. The web pages for the new program are under development now and will be posted here shortly.
